If the CV-2 is made of RNA, how does it have HIV DNA?

The title is misleading. In the interview the French Doc doesn’t actually say DNA. He says a bit of HIV.

HIV is a ss RNA retrovirus, if the article states that there is HIV DNA, then there is no credibility to be lent to it.

HIV is a retrovirus. It carries RNA which is reverse transcribed into DNA after infecting a cell.
