If he were a nobel winning scientist I would think he would know that both HIV and covid are RNA viruses and do not contain DNA. in addition there are a lot of common sequences of rna shared by different viruses.

In the actual interview text, Montagnier simply said RNA was like DNA, which is true, except it’s one strand instead of two. The writer at the top implied that HIV has DNA, meaning the writer could have just had a bird brain moment.
