There are 26 GOP Governors let’s roll. The rats are mobilizing, they are going slow walk this as much as possible. If they can keep the economy crushed through May no way it recovers before the election.
The American people are overwhelmingly in favor of opening up, so the president is on the right side of this issue.
It's no use if we wait until "the patient" (the U.S. economy) is entirely Covid-19 free, if "the patient" is dead by then.
The needle that must be threaded is to revive the economy without starting new outbreaks that overwhelm our hospitals.
This should be done at the state, city and county level.
President Trump is supernatural.. No mere mortal could endure, let alone Win, the fight he has been through.
The price of rope has gone up substantially. I don’t know how many more trillions we can afford.
Its pretty clear by now
-This disease is greatly focused on the elderly
-Covid-19 deaths are very highly focused among people who have other health problems
-Children are basically not-affected
-People <35 years old have minuscule hospital or ICU admittance.
-You can see large clustering of cases in Hospitals and nursing homes in particular.
Re-open the economy - put great efforts into isolating hospitals, nursing homes and the elderly. Give states recommendations for social distancing and common-sense mask use, but let them decide.
End this national economic suicide now!

I expect Trump will receive strong pushback on this as there are a lot of authoritarians and "experts" invested heavily with edicts that require face coverings; their public reason being that masks help control the spread of the Chinese Flu ... but I'm convinced their true reason for mandating these damn things is that masks serve as a constant reminder that if you venture outside your home you're facing certain death and thus you must remain under our control.
To borrow an (in)famous phrase: "Resisss we much!"
