Poorly written sentence in the 2nd paragraph seems to getting under some people’s skins.

I don’t think OP is saying Trump is unhinged. The article itself is digging into a Trump-hating presstitute that may have some ties to China via her “husband”. It seems like a pretty pro-Trump blog to me.

You have it exactly right. The writer unartfully made it looked he was saying Trump was unhinged when unhinged was a comment he meant for the press.
