Nails didn’t work that first Easter either.
This was not a drive-in service.
He couldn’t control his mouth...saying teachers were increasing child molestation by protesting in Frankfort and other similar things. Right before the election he called for tolls in northern Kentucky which put in the final nail - those counties went blue when they are normally deep red - no way that happens had he just kept his mouth shut. Beshear didn’t beat Bevin - Bevin defeated himself.
And Bevin fully destroyed his reputation with some of the pardons he issued just before leaving office.
That was involving a drive-in service. This was not a drive-in service.
“Bevin could not have been that bad of a governor; how is it that a commie dem got elected to that position?”
The leftwing politics of Louisville dominate the state of Kentucky, just like many other states with large rural populations that are dominated by one large liberal city.
NY, MI, GA, PA, LA, WA, MN, IA, IL, to name just a few.
Its all about pilfering the monies from the people. ..
We were targeted for our parking lot services which we went to in accordance to the Pharaoh of Frankforts decree. 10 less in church to conduct service, 6 ft apart and half of the 8-10 left after the singing to their cars. The Bell Co KY Health Depr director called our pastor and said she got a complaint we were congregating. And then started clicking off rather aggressively things we were allegedly doing. The pastor pushed back on most all of it and she only stopped her aggressive tact when he said you are violating our constitutional rights.
He was told the 10 person or less policy was no longer in place, its changed. He said its CDC guidelines. Its changed she said. He said can you show me something in writing? No was the reply. Then we were dictated 2 people in church and he said me preaching, one running sound/radio broadcast and one Facebook streaming. NO people in church singing regardless of social distances and again she could not cite source. On top of this now cars in the parking lot had to be 6 ft apart! The pastor said Walmart, Kroger etc... dont have to do this why do we, we have been staying in our cars and following guidelines. NO came the reply from the health department director! Thats different! He asked how is it different? It just is she said and you will comply with the policies I have stated or KY state police will arrive and cite and quarantine you all. This womans husband is a preacher and shes gone all Nero on us. Her king lives in Frankfort it seems.
No other church in Bell county KY had to follow these draconian, petty and arbitrary guidelines. We cant figure why we are being singled out unless she, her family or friends didnt like one of the sermons our pastor preached, hes very conservative. The congregation is livid and the pastor and deacons are planning on filing a complaint with the KY AG for anti-Christian behavior by the health department director. They have also been offered assistance with legal counsel and the ACLJ. Welcome to the Peoples Republic of KY!
On Holy Thursday, an American mayor criminalized the communal celebration of Easter.
That sentence is one that this Court never expected to see outside the pages of a dystopian novel, or perhaps the pages of The Onion. But two days ago, citing the need for social distancing during the current pandemic, Louisvilles Mayor Greg Fischer ordered Christians not to attend Sunday services, even if they remained in their cars to worship and even though its Easter.
The Mayors decision is stunning.
And it is, beyond all reason, unconstitutional.
The Judge ruled that the Mayor order Christians could not attend a church service even if they remained in their cars was unconstitutional. So it did not matter how the church was to provide the service, the act of attending was illegal. Ok to walk into a store but not a church.
They have added another jewel in your crown. A Blessed Easter to you and your people. God sees my friend God sees.
The pastor filed a complaint with the AG of KY and was told to follow CDC 10 person rules and they would be contacting him shortly.
