These phony journos make a living off hindsight. Obviously in a rapidly developing and changing situation, leaders make their best estimate based on what is known at the time, and will inevitably refine and change estimates as information develops. It is dishonest of them to cherry pick a statement from the opening days and pretend it was wrong because the situation has evolved.

Trump should make clear to the public, in his answers to these people, that what he said and did was based on expert advice at the time, and as the situation changes, his position will change accordingly, again based on latest advice of the experts, which will change as facts come in.

Naturally the “experts” are not prescient either, but there is no virtue in blaming them. They do the best they can as does Trump.

Leftists always move the goal posts, and never accept responsibility for the failure they inevitably produce.

Acosta should be blaming Obama, and his Democrat colleagues for draining the stockpile of medical supplies and not restocking.

But instead, they criticize President Trump for not fixing a problem they were responsible for. In the last 3 years how many Democrats stood up and said "we need to restock the essential medical supplies we used up during the Obama years"?

I think we all know the answer - none.

And followup. Why should trump have assumed that obama failed to restock after 2009? If obama didnt restock when he used it, and didnt restock for 6 more years, why would trump have been told it needed to be done?
