I’ll not be shy: people these days are wusses! They thing the abnormal we’ve been enjoying here in the West where bad things don’t seem to happen as often is normal. Thinking life shouldn’t suck is why Americans abuse insurance as if it were assurance, want government to take care of them and so forth.
Think about it. We had the 1918 Pandemic while we were fighting a War.

My mom, 96 years old, agrees with you. I guess you can’t appreciate the wussiness unless you’ve lived some of your life during the depression, and then WWII.
