I had to quit flying for business when my doctor informed me that getting within 500 feet of a CNN broadcast caused an IQ reduction of 2 points. The closer you get, the more intense the loss. I had to quit being in the same zip code as a broadcast while I could still dress myself and tie my own shoe laces.

My doctor gave me basically the same advice. I was in my early 60’s, and he said to stay out of airports, airport bars and to stop watching ABCNNBCBS and cancel every newspaper and news magazine subscription and I might make it to age 70.
I listened and I’m 81, and I don’t miss any of the above.
We cut our cable 3 years ago.
