No, I’ve got to go to the store in just about an hour, and I am really not looking forward to it at all.
I wonder how many people with CV have gone through Winn Dixie in the last three days? 72 hours.
Any surface in that store could be infected. If the stock boy was infected when he was stocking shelves, any item on the shelf could be infected. I could pick up that can of soup right there, and it could kill me. And everyone that I love by making me, unknowingly, their murderer.
If the cashier is infected, I’m infected. If someone gave the cashier infected money, then the register is infected. I’m not even going to bother mentioning hanging clouds of aerosol.
Welcome to The Future, where, with every, single thing you do, you automatically get entered in The Pathogen Lottery!
Chinese Bio-weapon.
Hysteria much?
Shopping is now indeed the “Pathogen Lottery..”
I haven’t been inside a store since late Feb.
We switched to delivery with Instacart, but there are a lot of other similar services.
Push comes to pull, you could try curbside pickup if your store offers it.
I Lysol or Clorox Wipe every single item I buy. But you can supposedly use soap and water as well. Then, I leave it untouched in my basement for over a week to let any missed virus particles die off. Only after a week OR TWO, will I put the item away - unless it’s something that needs immediate refrigeration or freezing.
Goes without saying, but wash the heck out of your hands afterward..and toss your clothes in the wash. Lysol your shoes and coat if you have Lysol to use..(rare as a purple unicorn at this point to buy - at least around here)..
Good luck..I’ve found shopping TRULY sucks at this point and it’s stressful beyond words for sure.
So you dont believe in God? Or fate? When its your time to go, its your time. How would you ever leave the house if you thought otherwise?
Or bat soup caused.
But I am not going to give into speculation.
It could be either or neither. As with other things, I don’t know.
My wife and I went to the store yesterday, bought gas, and even went to Lowe’s to get the wood for our planter boxes and a bunch of plants. We even talked to friends at Lowes that were there with their kids
The virus was not even on our mind. Well we did discuss it as a “news of the day” thing with our friends.
The hype in the MSM (Including fox) is strong. We were at far more risk of dying on our drive home. And we’re both 66. People need to concern themself with stuff that actually has a “strong” impaact of affecting them - like the flu, or losing their job.
You said the same thing last week and you survived.
I've gone to Wal-Mart and Smith's a couple of times. They have sanitizing wipes at the door to wash the cart handles. I use one to wash my face, then for hands and finally handles.
So far, so good.
