Right now, Republicans are too complacent.
Do you have any evidence of that, or are you just spouting bullsh!t and expecting people to believe it because you said so?

Easy question. Trust Sessions. Trust Huber. The midterms are safe.

A coup, aided and abetted by the GOPe, has been raging throughout the Trump admin and the average GOP voter couldn’t care less. If that isn’t complacency nothing is. The idea Trump bumper stickers/signs are a clear sign of voter enthusiasm is silly.

How about the fact that Trump is breaking all records in voter turnout in his primaries for an incumbent, when he is virtually uncontested?

Fair enough.

How do you explain the record turnout of Trump voters in primaries in an election where the candidate is the only one on a ballot? A complacent voter wouldn’t bother to vote.

Or, the large crowds at the rallies? A complacent voter wouldn’t stand in line for hours.

I think those are far stronger indications of non-complacency than someone at a keyboard saying they trust Sessions or Huber. That is a Free Republic bubble that the voters or rally attendees probably have no idea about.

I simply don’t agree that people who say Trump is doing a good job, Trump is doing what he promised, or Trump is good for the economy are complacent or overconfident. They may well be simply optimistic that Trump will win a second term. That doesn’t necessarily make them overconfident.

Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.
