How can the UK only have 28 beds available for acute respiratory care in the entire country?I don't know. I think he said for the most severe respiratory care and mentioned the rooms had the blood oxygenation machines. I think he said that came out in ministerial testimony.
So they probably have more ventilators than the blood oxygenation machines.

ECMO, apparently with the ability to expand the number to 28 in an emergency
