Geometry, all that busywork, when I could see the correct answer without going through all those steps. My teacher couldn’t figure out how I always had the correct answer without going through the proofs. I don’t know how, I just saw it.
When I worked in interior design, I never carried paint or fabric samples when shopping for jobs, it was all in my head. I saw the colors and could match them perfectly from memory.

We did Saxon though algebra, then a very hands on geometry program, I forget the name. For higher maths, we used a co-op. Same with higher sciences, we used a co-op.

My daughter uses Singapore and Life of Fred. She thinks both are really good, but sequencing is different so standardized testing could be affected.

Rainbow Resource Catalogue for ideas, a shop or online source that sells used curriculum for grammar, math and science, and a library card.

I recommend the printed catalog, such fun, like a Sears Christmas Wish Book for homeschool moms. It’s huge!

Wish I could have had your type of mind my sophomore year... math nearly ruined my great grade point average! Very happy for you.

Low cost homeschooling:

Robinson Curriculum - If you know the theory here you can
use the library to get through this curriculum. You can buy Robinson Curriculum very cheaply secondhand.

Sonlight: Used, whole Cores of Sonlight can be bought for $150-$200. Then you can re-sell for about what you paid because it is non-consumable. Math will probably need to be added in but there are lots of low cost alternatives.

It just doesn’t cost much to give your kids a really good education.
