I always knew that blacks and Hispanics would be in play for Trump - maybe not majorities, but possible numbers much higher than any prior Republican. But he needed to get into office first, to be able to show real results, rather than just empty promises and pandering. He’s done that.
What’s INGENIOUS here is that Trump is basically through trying to fight for the white vote, as 98% of white voters have their minds made up. But black and Hispanics were...different story - after all how many black men want to see Mayor Pete and his ‘partner’ together at the DNC Convention. For whites, the Leftists who have an issue with Pete’s ‘partnership’ will suck it up, because they’re ‘woke’. Blacks, especially, are not into ‘woke’. It just doesn’t make any sense to them...nor should it make sense to anyone else.
My hope is President Trump can turn the majority black vote to republican by showing the black population the dems promise a lot but deliver nothing but handouts which doesn’t move the needle of prosperity for them.
LBJ conned and bought the black vote back in the 60’s. It would be great if poor blacks truly awakened to what could be their future instead of endless generations of ghetto life.
