Even if they announce a “winner” in Iowa, how would we really know? The result is tainted, and every DEM primary moving forward will be looked at with a critical eye.
I think the game-plan (at least by the DNC) is to quickly move on and not say much of anything. As long as Joe loses, things are fine. I expect other issues in Nevada to occur (last minute registrations), and Joe won’t pick up any real delegates there either.
All of this scripted out....Bernie will miss the needed delegates to reach ‘winner-status’ in the first round of the convention, and they can go onto the planned idea of a unknown person stepping up (I don’t think it’s Bloomberg either).
