In the USA last year, the flu had an estimated 0.3% mortality rate. (Those estimated to be infected, 0.3% died.) There were about 90,000 dead last year.
Say this crap infects the same number of people - about 30 million in the USA. Now we are looking at 900,000 just from this. In 2018 there was something like 2.8 million total deaths.

My approach to Troward was to read through once to get an overall picture; and then read again slowly. It’s one instance where having an audio book was very helpful - hearing a concept, as well as reading it, gets it into your mind in a different way.
People say to start with the Edinburgh lectures. I found the Dore lectures more accessible in the beginning.
