Oh one thing. My wife and I are 58 and we pay $1900 per month for our health insurance. I looked to see what the age banded cost will be when we are 63- Over $3000 per month for a $8000 deductible each.

We have done well but and an afford it. But many can’t and they make too much money for medicaid.

Not all people are fritting away their money as you claim. Most are cutting coupons and watching every penny they spend.

Until about ten years ago, that was us but we always knew how to live cheap.

Twice I’ve been let go from my job due to restructuring and was off for six months. (I guess you’d call that an emergency)

But, I also have some skills and was able to scramble at any sort of work I could find. We never missed a payment and besides the mortgage and occasional car payment hold no debt.

Our kids are the same. One lost his job last week because the company went bankrupt and still owes him for two weeks pay. On the way home, he was on a dirt road and drove onto a patch of ice. The ice cracked and his truck ended up in a 4’ deep puddle. He just found out today the insurance company totaled it.

We’ll be helping him out to get a new truck.

Not all people, for sure. My point was mostly directed at millennials and others who have no clue about money management. Yes, Obamacare and other factors are weighing in as well.

It is not the job of taxpayers and people who are responsible with their money to bail out the “big hat no cattle” crowd. These are people who rent their lifestyles, probably have decent incomes but refuse to live within their means.

They always have an excuse why they “can’t” save money—but they have a smart phone, lease a Tesla, carry a Michael Kors handbag, have a $5.00 Starbucks coffee every morning, etc.

I believe both that we shall remain a Representative Constitutional Republic and that the globalists will continue to enlist the progs world wide against that outcome.

A Counter Resistance will become a real revolution, especially as more and more people process the truth of the globalist agenda.

We have had two Counter Revolutionary Presidents: Reagan and Trump. Both elected by an enraged populace trying to stay within Constitutional bounds.

When I was much younger, I spent a mere 12 weeks out of the United States. The contrast when I returned home was so stark, all I could feel was gratitude for the return.

Since then, over 50 years ago, a great number more Americans have experienced the rest of the world. I’ve rarely found myself to be unique in my reactions, so I have hope every one of those Americans learned to appreciate our country and our way of life after being absent for a period of time.

We have something here that is worth the fight, even as degraded as it has been by the progs.

and there are a lot of brick and mortar stores closing. On line sales have revolutionized his we do business. I’ll bet the statistics show we are spending more than ever, just not in a traditional setting. That said there is no excuse for not having a financial cushion.
