He may disagree with Trump on impeachment strategy. Note that Bolton’s strategy is to cuss the enemy out at every opportunity. Now that he’s out of the administration, Bolton gets to do impeachment his way. This is Trump’s reward for kicking Bolton out - Bolton’s not gonna come after him because he really, really hates Democrats, but Trump is gonna have to worry that the Democrats will somehow jiujitsu Bolton into saying something damaging to Trump. Not happening. Bolton is not some guy who just walked off the street. He was fighting turf battles in the Reagan administration when Trump was chasing tail. I read a bunch of Bolton’s essays dating back from the Reagan years and have been following his career for decades. He’s a consummate bureaucrat infighter who measures every word he says.
