So my thought was that maybe this pot was a threat to Kim to keep him in line, not deal with Trump without his permission. Otherwise he could be replaced by a double that Xi could have complete control over.
I think it is possible.
thoughts I’ve seen consist of china letting kim advance with rockets but no nukes. I think china has evaluated Trumps willingness to hit with not only economic sanctions but militarily as well. They don’t want a conflict while they are negotiating a new trade deal.
