The Supreme Court should intervene and declare this sham "impeachment" unconstitutional--which it is: no crime was committed.

However, should the Court neglect its duty and fail to act, President Trump's lawyers should appeal to the Court to declare the sham "impeachment" unconstitutional.

For the Court to fail to do this, by default, means that the sham "impeachment" is constitutional and that, contrary to the specific wording of the Constitution, Congress can impeach any President, for any reason or for no reason, and remove him from office. This seriously destabilizes the Presidency, the Federal Government, and the balance of powers, and it violates the Constitution.
