McDonald v. City of Chicago, case in which on June 28, 2010, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled (5–4) that the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms,” applies to state and local governments as well as to the federal government.
We found the argument “that only those arms in existence in the 18th century are protected by the Second Amendment” not merely wrong, but “bordering on the frivolous.”
Instead, we held that “the Second Amendment extends,
prima facie, to all instruments that constitute bearable
arms, even those that were not in existence at the time of
the founding.”
Heller defined the “Arms” covered by the Second Amendment to include “‘any thing that a man wears for his defence, or takes into his hands, or useth in wrath to cast at or strike another.’”
If Heller tells us anything, it is that firearms cannot be
categorically prohibited just because they are dangerous.
I envision much treachery from the gun owners wives that are just trying to be 'good citizens' by obeying the law. Nasty situation.

It’s geography VS population. I’m guessing 60% of VA. population live in the few counties of NOVA around DC and Richmond. Not a lot of votes in national forests, farmland and mountain valleys.

I care about Virginia but I also care about all Americans. I strongly believe Trump is the perfect President to take on Virginia on this issue — by publicly challenging them to renounce their evil intentions (which of course they won’t do) — and demonstrating to wishy-washy good people all over our country the utter and complete folly of ever failing to vote R again. Ever.
Whenever, wherever, the dems win, America and Americans and the Constitution all lose. I think this is the perfect place for Trump to begin what I hope is his goal in 2020: to crush the dems in as many races as humanly possible.
That makes sense. And liberals have inviaded those northern cities unfortunately. We thought about moving moving to Virginia or North Carolina. Ended up in Tennessee because both of those states are headed the wrong way voting-wise. With their big cities growing and out voting the rest. Not sure why that’s not happening in Tennessee. We probably just don’t have enough big cities.

No what Trump needs to do is declare ALL Democraps are Domestic Enemies of the state....because they are.
