The libs all want to get rid of the
electoral college.It should just be
a nationwide popular vote.Okay so
why do they still have primaries? They still campaign state to state to win delegates.

If they’re consistent they should just have one national primary day.No more “oh, Iowa and New Hampshire are making themselves more important by holding their primary and caucases first”. (Rush calls Iowa’s the “Hawkeye caucii”). So Democrats if you just think there should be one national election counting the popular vote, pick a day. No more delegates.At the convention, no more “roll call of states”. To be consistent if they don’t want an electoral college they should also forgo state primaries, caucuses, etc.

Then the candidates can stop that silly procedure of going to all states to campaign.Just do one big speech on national TV and hold The National Primary.

I've seen this point made in other venues. Apart from being hypocrites (the natural state of the Democrat party), I don't understand why they don't do
exactly what you suggest. They hate going to the fly-over states and having to deal with the cretins that live there. The only thing that makes sense is
that the DNC knows that a national primary would nominate the most bat-$hit crazy candidate that would then get trounced in the general election.
