It depends on what the army will do. The ‘security forces’ are sometimes not even Iranian, but hired Palestinian thugs, and they are hated by the people.
On the twitter feed (news/rumors?) there was mention of two of the police were killed. They were commanders, and were shot by their own guys when they ordered their guys to fire on the protestors.
That is hopeful if true.
