“You loyal ATT subscribers should be complaining.”

We would LOVE to get rid of AT&T in our home. We’ve held on to our AT&T landline (actual landline that plugs into the wall; not a computer) because we’ve relied on it during power failures when cell charging was an issue. Computer VOIP batteries last a relatively short time, so

Last power failure, the landline was kaput. Maybe it was a coincidence, and maybe AT&T has incorporated electric power somewhere into their landline protocol. If so, we’re done with them.

You could always ask them if they are now dependent on grid power.

I understand the limited availability of telecom providers. And it’s not realistic to dump AT&T if there are no reasonable alternatives.

Telecom’s ownership of the news should be an antitrust issue. No one should be forced to pay for the hatred that Comcast and AT&T force upon the subscribers.
