When the show first came out I read all the books. I didn’t want to wait to find out what happens. Don’t bother. A never ending story that goes nowhere.
Very few shows can capture the books. (Tom Clancy’s stuff worked on the screen.) HBO did a good job on the series and was better than the books, although, after reading the books I gave up on the series.
But this series by George RR Martin is very well written. He does a great job with the Tyrion Lannister character. A pretty cool dwarf that I would like to share a beer with. A flagon of beer.
