Those are the same airframe of the hypersonic test rockets I’ve seen at Edwards. If they travel 7,600mph it’s 7,000miles from China to Kansas so we’ve got almost an hour unless they’re sub launched.

Don't know much about them. I found the picture on another site that looked like the ones on the video linked at the site above, since I don't know how/if video can be posted.
Looks to me like they stay within the atmosphere to some degree? That would offer some protection from space-based defensive weapons and allow more maneuverability?
