Turtle’s biggest failure was not identifying to VOTERS, those GOP-e Senators who were unreliable.

That is not his job. The voters of each state pick a representative of THEIR CHOICE, not Mitch McConnell's. The very least reliable GOP Senator, Susan Collins (who by the way saved Kavanaugh's confirmation), voted with Trump 68% of the time. We are NOT going to get a more conservative Senator from Maine, so "primarying" her will only get you another Senator King, who voted with Trump only 39%.

Primarying an incumbent and keeping the seat almost never happens. Last time it DID happen was 2010, when Murkowski was defeated in the primary only to come back and win as a write-in candidate.

This was Yertletalk for “Make my day.” This tells me Yertle knows he has 34 hard “acquits” in his caucus (and likely another 10 squish acquits—that is, RINOs who, when they see how the vote is going, will be on the winning side). Indeed, I think Yertle is right now just a couple of votes away from something that is rarely mentioned: a “dismissal.”
