Running for office gives immunity from investigation. Right there in the constitution. Unless you are Trump, in which case running for office means illegal surveillance of you, your relatives, your business associates, and your friends.

And if you have the temerity of being popular, win, and are effective, then the government will turn all its power against you, impeach you, call you illegitimate, put on the 4 year hate, and if they can find an opportunity, the ultimate.

I am totally disgusted by the federal government. Totally. The press too, of course, but they don;t carry guns, pick my pocket, and tell me how to live.
