It’s a thread about Palin and how people feel about her - the context is the divorce news, my input was about how I disliked her for something she did and I don’t care much for her since. All on topic. You’re being petty and splitting hairs. Have you seen how most threads digress around here? I’m on topic and you know it, you just don’t like my opinion.

Re McCaine and his military history...if his grandfather and father hadn't been Admirals, he would NEVER have gotten to fly ; a skill he was terrible at.
When found by the Cong, the very first words out of his mouth were :"MY GRANDFATHER AND FATHER ARE ADMIRALS!". And his subsequent behavors and utterances were as bad!The vast majority of those in the HH with him have NOTHING good to say about him. Not quite an out and out traitor, but he "besmirched" his service record sans any help from me.
