XP is no longer supported.
Hasn’t been for sometime.
I’m sure that you can still play them on an XP machine.
I can’t play ps1 games on my ps4, and I bought them.
It’s got nothing to do with XP support. There is nothing inherent in XP that doesn’t allow those apps to run under Win 10. I’ve been using Win 10 for almost a year and the apps ran fine during that time. Nor is it a question of support.
A PS4 is a totally different issue, as it uses an AMD “jaguar” 8-core processor. I think it has Windows 10 support, but I’m not sure. That’s not the issue. The issue is removing an app that I had previously paid for without my permission.
What does that mean? I have been using XP (and am still using it to type this right this very moment) and I have been using it for almost two decades.
What sort of "support" should I need? Virus? Don't have a problem with viruses. If I should ever have an actual problem with viruses, i'll just wipe the hard drive and reload XP.
Biggest problem I have is with organizations such as Microsoft deliberate disabling features from people trying to force me to update.
Youtube is an @$$. They are another example of a company disabling features simply to force you to update.
If I ever update, it will be to Linux. Not going to fool with any of the crap Microsoft makes nowadays.
