I don’t believe this is the case. He is “backing off” what the rally attendees said, not anything
he said ”optics”. He hasn’t cbed, he hasn’t abandoned us or MAGA.

Hey, I'm NOT deserting him at all, but he NEVER should have apologized nor made excuses, saying, for all intent and purposes...IT WASN'T ME. That "optic" isn't any good.
Neither did he start nor say the "LOCK HER UP" chant. But he never apologized for that.
