President Trump has refused to walk back his racist tweets targeting a group of Democratic congresswomen of color in part because he believes his supporters will stand by him. CBS News' Ed O'Keefe spoke to a number of Trump supporters on Monday who say they do.
"I know some people don't like his tweets and they think he's crass. I -- that's why I voted for him," said retired businesswoman Mary Lou Kohlhofer.
Another supporter, Doug Thomas, said, "It's unfortunate he had to do it the way he had to do it… It's really the only way he can to get this country back."

Trump strategy to educate dem voters
Dems prefer lockstep, secrecy, and a congenial image. The latest storm started with the squad calling out Pelosi. Pelosi downplayed it (burying it). Days ago Trump defended Pelosi to keep the squabble from being buried. Didn’t work, Pelosi didn’t react, neither did the squad. So Trump attacked the squad, they took the bait and the MSM did as well. Now, Pelosi must agree with the squad or shut them down to maintain lockstep. She can’t do either.
A bonus to this strategy is the predictable over reaction by progressives and MSM which also alienates voters.
For those that believe the Dems would have continued to publicly destroy each other, Pelosi would never have allowed that. If the squabble continues, normal dem voters will question what the party really stands for: socialism (the squad) or Pelosi’s less scary version of the party. I contend that ‘the squad’ represents 35% of those motivated to vote for Dems. It’s the remainder that Dems (Pelosi) are worried about.
BTW - couldn’t figure out what was racist in that tweet, according to MSM, telling someone to leave is racist. I’ve determined that the word racist is a new cuss word, can be used anywhere, anytime and means nothing except disdain.....much like s.o.b. or a**hole etc.
I get why the libs say that about Trump but it’s when people supposedly on our side who get bent out of shape for his tweets, i.e. Matt Walsh.
Walsh was on Twitter having a freaking melt down. I really get tired of the never trumpers who act holier than thou.

Of course not, but the media apparently just became judge, jury and executioner. The media should have more properly labeled the tweets as "Allegedly racist tweets as alleged by the anti-American Democrat radicals."

My answer would be something like “it is precisely to counter Mainstream Media lies like the one you’re trying to tell right now about his tweets supposedly being racist that we elected him to do”.
