This video reveals how YouTube is shadow banning vidos it wants to suppress by not allowing them to show up in their search engine. As you will see, even when the search is filtered according to UPLOAD DATE, an objective criteria, YouTube will often refuse to allow many videos to appear in the search. I provide the very specific example of a video I uploaded on July 11 about Hunter Biden yet when you do a search according to upload date, it DOES NOT APPEAR.
Next week, the Senate Subcommittee on the Constitution, chaired by Senator Ted Cruz, is conducting a hearing on "Google and Censorship through Search Engines." I hope that subcommittee looks into this matter about how YouTube is failing to allow certain videos to appear even when the search is filtered according to what is supposed to be an objective criteria, upload date. This is but one example of shadow banning by YouTube and it is easily verified. In fact, my video about Joe Biden's "overflow" crowd uploaded on July 8 also did not appear on the YouTube search engine filtered by upload date when you enter "Joe Biden" into the search. There are many many other similar examples of this shadow banning via search engine.

It says UPLOAD DATE, there was no other criterion.

At 12:50 in your video you're hovering over Upload Date. Allow your eyes to go up a little until you see the column heading. See that? Is says "Sort By".
Now, take a look at the other column headings to the left.
You'll notice that the first one says "Upload Date" and underneath it are the options of Last Hour, Today, This week, etc.
That's where you limit the videos to a particular upload period.
Now, you can choose all the videos uploaded in the last week, for instance, and using the other column sort them by upload date.
See how easy?
I have had this experience as well. Or if you look up someone's name/channel, that they don't like, you will get the person's videos from 6 months to years ago, but only if you click on the person's channel, do you get their latest videos.
IOW it makes it look like someone hasn't posted anything in a long time.
Glad that Senator Cruz is trying to do something about this.
Yes, it says “Sort By.” So when it says Sort By and below is UPLOAD DATE you expect it to do exactly that. The search within a time frame is more specific but if you want to do a search by UPLOAD DATE in general you expect it to do just that. Not Search by Relevancy Upload Date as you suggest.
BTW, I also did a search on SORT BY VIEW COUNT and that is exactly what it did. It showed the videos in descending view count order. Not by RELEVANT view count.

I’m not blocked on twitter, just when I post anything positive replying to a Trump Tweet it is invisible?
I guess the only way is ask someone to check if they can see your message.

Remember last week when you were claiming that the UPLOAD DATE under Sort By somehow factored in what was considered the most relevant videos? Well, at the time I pointed out how absurd that is. Well, apparently YouTube noticed my complaint and NOW when you click UPLOAD DATE under "Sort By" it does accurately reflect the upload date. Case in point: My video I uploaded today about Beto O'Rourke's hair suddenly turning gray. If you Search "Beto O'Rourke" and click UPLOAD DATE under "Sort By" it now accurately shows the upload dates IN ORDER which it didn't do before. My video is now several down from the top. Soon after I uploaded it my video was IMMEDIATELY at the top because it was the most recently uploaded video for a few hours that was uploaded under the search terms "Beto O'Rourke."
So not only have you been PROVED wrong, but my video complaining about it FIXED the problem because YouTube obviously took note and rectified that.
Now go my son and sin some more.
So I described how it worked and you complained to YouTube and they changed it.

No. It was supposed to be how it works now, namely STRICTLY by upload date. But YouTube was obviously playing favorites and when I called them on it, they corrected it to the way it is SUPPOSED to be. Part of the reason might have to do with a lot of attention now being paid to their search engine functions as was highlighted at a senate hearing yesterday.
I agree it seems that's the way it should work but don't be too quick to claim victory.
It looks like "Hunter Biden" searches are still working the way they did in your video.
RSBN was just saying that their live coverage of the Trump rally today is not searchable....on Youtube.

And yet “Joe Biden” IS working as it should in UPLOAD DATE. Perhaps they know any search for “Hunter Biden” is going to look bad for Joe or, perhaps I need to do a video about it. Also might do a Newsbusters story on this.
Thanx. I forgot about that rally but watching it now. BTW, I like that RSBN camera pans the venues so you can see just how YUUUUUUUGE the Trump rally crowds are. Nothing like the MSM doing tight shots of Democrat crowds which are laughably small. I did a video exposing Joe Biden’s “overflow” crowd of about 40 people. That was laughable.
