The land is in a family held corporation. We have no such deals or understandings with the feds.

The fact that the Heinz famiy is associated with this gives me the heebie jeebies.

Found this on the site you linked to a different post:

It also seems like an initial survey was completed several years ago and they are doing “re-visits” so you may have had them there before.

You may need to do some more research here before building redoubts and reinforcing them with artillery.

You or your family is likely getting an AG (agricultural) exemption from the local county. That seems to let the feds think they have some rights. That’s how that parcel is on the list.

The price you pay for lower taxes I guess. I ignore them and they let it go.
