If they truly cared, and thought voting could fix it, wouldn’t the answer be to move to CA and OR? Out vote those Marxists that inhabit our big cities? No, we will never see that

I lived in California for 30 years before leaving five years ago.

The other perspective is the fight the war differently, through sanctions and embargoes.

While not quite like with Iran, by moving away I and others are starving California of the access to financing that the regime in power desperately needs to survive. That's why the governor had to cancel the bullet train, and then raise the gasoline tax.

The cities can't afford to manage the homeless problem, and trash, vermin, and disease is starting to infect major areas.

Businesses are leaving because customers are leaving.

At some point, one of several things will happen:

  1. the regime will crack down and take drastic measures.
  2. the people will rise up and demand change.
  3. the state will collapse into disarray.
I think it's going to be a race between #1 and #3. Things will have to get extremely bad before the people consider voting for Republicans.

“I lived in California for 30 years before leaving five years ago.”

You at least got to see a bit of the good ole’ days in CA. Of course if your 30yr stent was from birth, you probably never got to see the good times in CA (at least not while you were old enough to notice haha).

Everyone understands why people leave, I mean it is perfectly obvious. But as they say, “so goes CA, so goes the nation.” So I say, let’s make California great again!
