Well, I’ve gotten an up vote and a down vote.

I had a neighbor complain that she had to jump through a surprising number of hoops to get a Real ID license conversion.

But, then, citizens now have to jump through hoops all of the time, while illegal aliens are pushed to the head of the line. Examples include: preference in housing, non-enforcement of driving violations, release from the judicial system, the ability to maintain multiple IDs for identity change if in trouble or to collect multiple EBTs.

It seems that if there’s anything that’s useful to a citizen, it becomes a right or necessity to be granted to illegals. That’s why I asked the question.

“I had a neighbor complain that she had to jump through a surprising number of hoops to get a Real ID license conversion.”

And also my late wife’s experience as a naturalized U. S. Citizen — took three tries although all documents were available and inerrant from the beginning. I still don’t believe any significant number of illegals have been able to acquire Real ID. The fed side of the system would catch a large percentage of counterfeit documents.
