The big big big question no one is openly asking yet is... who was Obama spying on (who was unmasked) BEFORE he set his minions on Trump? BEFORE summer of 2016?
Reporters? Rand Paul and Ted Cruz? Jeff Sessions? The answers might actually be a “bombshell”. Lets learn who the unmasking victims are.
The DNC/Obama/MSM spy ring needs to be exposed.
No prisoners!
Yes. The importance of this cannot be overstated. The Democrats have invested everything in a sustained, all-out hatefest against Donald Trump. As a matter of law, that shouldn't matter -- but as a matter of public perception and political reality, it matters a great deal. The investigation should be thorough. It will be a game changer if there are victims of Obama's lawlessness not named Trump, if those abuses predated Trump's entry into the presidential race, and if the spying on Trump is then contextualized as an extension of an ongoing effort.
The investigation must be thorough, but it must also move quickly. The timing is important. The Democrat fallback strategy will be to obstruct and delay every investigation past the next election. They think they are likely to win. They expect the next Democrat president to immediately shut down further investigations. They are confident that the press will support this and that the public will yawn; it's all "just politics," after all, and the coverup will be spun as shutting down a corrupt Trump attempt to punish his critics.
One of Bush 43's biggest mistakes was the decision, right at the beginning of his first term, to drop the several ongoing Clinton investigations. Bush wanted to be "a uniter, not a divider." He wanted to make a gesture of goodwill towards the Democrats after the Florida controversy. He had a positive legislative agenda to pursue and didn't want to consume his first term in legal trench warfare. So he allowed a crime syndicate to escape.
The criminals have drawn the logical conclusion that they can simply outlast the political process. Being Democrats, they know they will be shielded by the media. If Trump is reelected, the timing may not much matter. But that is not a certainty. Indictments -- at least the first wave of indictments on threshold questions like lying to the FISA Court, illegal unmasking, unauthorized contractor access to surveillance materials, illegal leaking -- need to be brought this year. If it's not, and if Democrats win the White House next year, it will all be suppressed.
Every deposition, every procedural motion, every subpoena, every discussion about setting a date is going to be played for maximum delay, and the political window for action is closing. Maybe Horowitz and Huber are further along than we know. Maybe there has been a team working quietly to lay the foundations all along. But at this point -- two and a half years into Trump's first term -- the Democrats have managed to stay on offense and, with the presidential season bearing down, are already very close to successfully running out the clock.
Excellent question!
I have a feeling that Trump will declassify and release Judge Collyers report. That will show the wholesale spying done by the Obama Internal Security Apparatchiks from day one.
Supreme Court justices like roberts.
I remember when there was some question about spying on phone conversations way-back before Trump.
It had to do with SCOTUS,
and specifically with John Roberts and his sudden change of decision about "ObunglerCare",
having to do with an illegal adoption.
Most parents would do just about anything to protect their family members.
Maybe they should look back even further ??
