If ANY state does this, then the states that vow to direct their electors to cast their ballot for the candidate who wins the national vote is highly tainted. In short, the Democrats are creating a national nightmare.

The federal courts need to stop this asap. The constitution sets the qualifications for serving as president. Period. If states can set extra-constitutional standards, there is no putting that genie back into the bottle. Democrats need to think back to the controversies over Bill Clinton’s medical records (including his drug history), John Kerry’s academic and military records, and Barack Obama’s birth certificate, passport and academic records.

In 1860 virtually every Southern state kept Lincoln off their ballot for the election. He won anyway. Trump may well do the same.
