I’m shocked the King agreed to this. The last time there were large number of palis in Jordan they repaid his hospitality by trying to murder his entire family. That was in 1972. The Jordanian Army drove them into the West Bank at gunpoint. It’s where the Black September movement got their name. Very good points, as well as history.
I am not sure why Jordan seemingly will step up. God's plan? They really want the money?
Interesting to see where all this leads.

I don’t know. But the palis have only gotten more radical since 72. I don’t see them agreeing to this at all. It will take military force to get them to move. Then Jordan will be stuck with a million pissed of savages in their country.
