I can’t think of a bigger name than Jack Canfield that has come out in favor of essential oils. He is using them in his coaching work, and has basically staked his multi-multi-million dollar reputation on the effectiveness of essential oils for health and personal change.
I started a “petrochemical weight loss protocol” today. The version I’m using calls for three oils: a citrus blend, ledum, and grapefruit oil. Mix 10 drops of ledum oil into 5 mils of citrus, and apply some before bed to fatty areas. At the same time, fill a capsule with 20 drops of grapefruit oil and swallow.
Supposedly the citrus+ledum dissolves the fat and the grapefruit oil helps metabolize the fat that’s now in the bloodstream. One theory is that the body created the fat to encapsulate toxins, and that the citrus+ledum removes the toxins, allowing the fat to dissolve by itself. I actually started the prototocol this afternoon, and I noticed an interesting side effect (or coincidence)— my appetite was significantly reduced. For dinner I cooked one of my favorite foods — curry chicken — and I was satisfied with a much smaller portion than usual.
I’m applying it to my love handles (since no one has offered to use them as such) and to my mild case of pot belly. I’m 5’9” and 178 lbs to start with. I’ll update occasionally.
