I’ve seen amazing things happen with herbs/diet etc. Even if a person is just starting to learn, bsically just learn what works for yourself, each person has different health conditions, issues, weakness, etc. So if I learn what works for me, and learn and more, pretty soon you learn a lot and can help others with similar conditions or issues.
And pretty much all herbs have more than just one use! So a small collection of herbs can treat, help or cure many different conditions.
I buy herbs mostly as I use primarily Ayurvedic herbs, many of which do not grow in my climate or no seeds/starts availalbe, plus I use such large quantities in making herb formulas I’d have to be a full time herb farmer! Plus I use powdered herbs which is a whole nother skillset...
Since herbs often work supported by other herbs - blends or formulas - powdered herbs work very well. Making teas it is more difficult to blend herbs, plus a lot of them taste REALLY awful so to drink a big steaming hot mug of strong horrible tasting brew several times a day does not help with patient compliance!
thank you for that good instruction. I have a wonderful herbalist in the area. She even teaches classes, plus a classes to become a certified herbalist. If I only had time for that!
I’m sitting here with my foot up, with mustard on it. Had pain with every step, and then a swelling the size of a small egg on the top. The mustard helps, but have to keep reapplying it. Used epsom salts soak yesterday. I have no idea what happened to cause it. Oh, well...just old age, I’m thinking.
Have a blessed day. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
