so good to hear your report. And yes, we should pray for all affected by this terrible disease.

I ran across this today:

“Could Future Leukemia Treatments Be Based on Dandelion? Dandelion root tea gained considerable fame back in 2012 when several leukemia patients in Canada started using it to slow their cancer. One patient even went into remission after being given a terminal diagnosis. When tested in the lab, dandelion root extract was indeed found to be highly toxic to leukemia cells (CMML), killing up to 96% of them in a matter of hours. So Canadian researchers started to test dandelion root tea in properly controlled clinical trials in 2015—but these are not complete yet. In the meantime, a fascinating new case study of an American man with leukemia (CMML) has been published in the “Case Reports in Hematology” journal linked below. This patient used papaya leaf and dandelion root extracts to successfully stabilize his cancer for eight years (and counting). And—in the stunning words of the researchers themselves—the patient’s “bone marrow blast counts vastly improved” during this time. Take note that this man used multiple other supplements such as maitake mushrooms (a full list is found in the paper) so we don’t know if it was the dandelion or the combination of many things. But this extraordinary result speaks volumes to the power of natural medicine. We will know much more when the clinical trials in Canada are complete. Watch this space.”
