Hopefully today I can post some medicated milk recipes; they are a traditional Ayurvedic methods of ingesting certain herbs. Milk is not The Devil in ayurveda, but considered a very essential and useful food, and a good carrier for certain kinds of herbs. And a tasty way to take them, too. One now popular one is Golden Milk. I will describe how I make it later, there are many recipes online, many use coconut or other oils in it (gag me) or non-cows milk, (gag me again). Traditionally cows milk is use.

Back in a bit. Gotta make some Golden Milk today! I need turmeric.

I like to put cumin, salt, pepper and cayenne in buttermilk.

That’s tasty if it’s scorching hot and you don’t want something heavy or you just want to use up your buttermilk before it goes bad.
