I was on vacation, in a hotel, and in the middle of the night got a horrible cramp in the top of my foot. I had none of my usual remedies with me, but did this: took the dry hotel bar of soap (Dial) and rubbed it on my foot. It went away. Did this two nights in a row. It worked!!!!!!!! Don’t know if it was the brand or just the soap, but I’ll be doing this forever.
I’ve read before about putting a bar of soap at the foot of the bed for leg cramps, and now you have evidence. I wonder what the mechaism is. Interesting.
