Info about Hawthorne and Rosehips since I mentioned my blend above.

Hawthorne berry: I posted on the thread its benefits for the heart, here are other uses.
carminitive, stimulant (not in a bad way), vasodilator, tonic.
Uess: heart disorders, arteriosclerosis, valvular insufficiency, blood clots, tumors, impacted wastes, old age, gout.

Hawthorne is commonly used as a heart tonic, but its sour taste indicates it helps digestion as well. It has warming and stimulating properties and is a mild coronary vasodilator, thereby increasing blood supply to the heart muscles. It can be used in the treatment of arteriosclerosis, hypertension, blood clots, arrhythmia, and extra systole. Its tonce action can help to stimute heart function in deficient conditions, or depress it in conditions of excess.

It helps to pull uric acid from the tissues and is useful in the treatment of gout. As a digsetive herb, it kindles the digestive fire thus promoting digestion, and helps break down accumulated or impacted food masses and even tumors in the GI tract. In moderation it can help tot treat slow disgestion, and can help lower high cholesterol.

Hawthorne helps the body utilize Vit.C and being rich in bioflavanoids, it has antioxidant properties. Like Amalaki, it helps to strengthen, repair and promote the growth of bodily tissues.

Rosehips
Astringent, antidiuretic, tonic.
Used for diarrhea, frequent urination, spermatorrhea and leucorrhea, and hemmorhage. Helpful for weak kidneys, cooling to the blood. Considered to help with many female problems including threatened miscarriage. and a source of Vit. Can take as powder or tea, pleasant tasting.
