Thanks for the result. I will keep that in mind.
Pinging the list - herbs for the liver. I’ve posted herbs for liver health earlier; and I may repost that list again, that list was mostly Ayurvedic herbs. This list are herbs more commonly available.
Here are some herbs that help strength, detoxify and/or rejuvenate the liver. As many herbs have multi-uses, some or most in this list likely have other benefits. I won’t list them now due to time.
Aloe Vera gel
Usually purchased as juice or gel, it is often difficult to find one without preservatives. I found an organic brand without preservatives, and DH used for a long time for helping cure very bad acid reflex. Do NOT get “whole leaf”, just the inner gel.

Barberry
Barberry root is well known as one of the best herbs for rejuvenating the liver and clearing it of toxins. It is very bitter, often herbs for the liver are. It does have many uses.
Bhringaraj and Bhumyamalaki
Two Ayurvedic herbs that are excellent for liver function. Since Ayurveda is become quite popular, these herbs are getting much easier to find.
They both remove toxins from the liver (and gall bladder, herbs for liver generally help the GB too). Liver clearing herbs also help detoxify blood.
Burdock
Burdock is an herb I am never without. It has so many uses and does not taste very awful. It is deeply cleansing to the liver, and as usual, gall bladder and blood. Many of these liver herbs help with inflammatory skin conditions as well as excess heat or inflammation anywhere in the body.
Nettle
Nettle tea helps with liver function. It is not as liver cleansing as the herbs above but is a decent herb tea to drink, and also provides many nutrients, and calms the nerve. I have on hand to use and I think I’ll makes some now. :-D
Dandelion
Dandelion root is often used as a beverage especially if the roots are roasted as it is said to have a coffee like taste. I have not used this herb (I have used all of the herbs above), but the unroasted root has a good reputation for helping with liver function. The root and the leaves have many uses, tender young leaves can be eaten in the spring.
