Here’s the sunscreen I offer my guests when they visit:
One ounce of coconut oil
One ounce of beeswax
One ounce of shea butter
Carrot seed oil, 20 drops
Half an ounce of raspberry seed oil
One teaspoon of vitamin e oil
Directions:
1. Using a double boiler on low heat, melt the butters, beeswax and coconut oil.
2. Take them off the heat and leave them to cool down a bit.
3. Add the carrot seed oil, vitamin e oil and raspberry oil.
4. Transfer the mixture into a glass jar.
5. Leave it to cool down overnight and you can start using it the next day.
Thanks for this info. Sun causes so much skin damage. I have friends who’ve lived in HI their whole lives or most of their lives, many surfed or were otherwise in the sun, and some have patches of skin cancer.
I realized early on that sun tanning was not for me. Wore big hat, avoided sun. Turning bright red and peeling was the only result.
