Pinging the list to a Lung Support herb blend and sources, and will post about Lomatium today, in a bit. Lomatium is an incredible herb which is a strong anti-viral as well as lung healer and strengthener. It is a sticky root and odd to deal with, I recently made 1 1/2 gallons of cough syrup with it as the base instead of my usual wild cherry bark, plus many other ingredients, and am brewing 1/2 gal. of Lomatium extract in alcohol. It tastes weird but who cares. Not the worst.
Aha!!!! I am planning to whip up a batch of this today or tomorrow, we and a friend need it. Good to take in winter if one has “iffy” lungs which I do.
I have posted my herb sources before and am glad to do so again. These three sources have high quality herbs, and two specialize in Ayurvedic herbs which are otherwise difficult to find. All three places lab test herbs for foreign matter, being the real herb, and toxins, and have organic herbs. Starwest also has non-org. but I only buy organic or wild crafted.

I used to buy mostly from Banyan botanicals but then they upped the wholesale accounts to $500 a yr minimum which I could not do, they are pretty expensive otherwise. But for somone just buying herbs for their own use, definitely all three sites are good. I still have w/s accounts with the other two. If you have any questions just let me know.
WHen I make herb blends, I measure with Tablespoon or 1/4 c. depending on how large a batch I am making. I put in a large bowl or pot (I have utensils I use just for this purpose), and whisk it all up. Then I put through a stainless steel strainer to remove any larger stems/etc and to make sure it is mixed totally. Then I store in glass jar/s labeled well, in a cool dark place.
Thank you for the ping to better health!
