Keto is harmful and so-called paleo is simply natural eating. Most people doing gluten-free have no medical need for it and are masking an underlying serious condition which will only worsen in more ways than one. Nearly all restaurants are garbage and people need to return to making foods at home with local, organic and unadulterated ingredients. Natural fats - including leaf lard - are necessary components of human health. Veganism will end up killing most people and the cure for what ails most people is simply standing up to the person you see in the mirror.
I agree with a lot of the above. Not sure what you mean by "standing up to the person you see in the mirror" but willing to hear more if you want to add anything. I'm interested in your process. And that's an impressive list of reversed symptoms.
There are fad diets and fad conditions, totally agree. Gluten is not the devil. I'd say that ghee and butter are better than lard. There are probably some supplements/pills etc that may help some conditions in some people - I have no personal experience with them. I use herb blends that I make myself and have little to no experience with what people generally call supplements. My field is Ayurveda which I will post on more later in the week.
Since you have experienced much improvement in health I hope you do post more.
Ayurveda is one of the few disciplines I’d recommend, but here’s the problem: Most people are hypocrites when it comes to health matters. I suspect you know where I’m coming from, but there is a reason for the behavior. I cannot elaborate.
Natural fats include organic butter and ghee. Each fat has a purpose. I mention lard frequently because it gets people’s attention (lard is the only fat for some purposes, including biscuits).
The ‘mirror’ comment is a metaphor for the concept that people are their own worst enemy in an overwhelming majority of cases. Denial, confirmation bias...my concept is that we’re hardwired for it.
We’re not finished evolving...
Be well. I’ve abandoned outreach for a variety of reasons and am trying to get back into writing. I suspect you’d genuinely be interested in the core concept.
