There is a separate FR thread (HERE) where people are contributing to a list of “easy cures for common diseases.” This is meant to bring awareness to alternative treatments that are effective but not well known. Please add to the conversation, either here or on that other thread. Below are the “cures” I added. Some might be sketchy, but they are worth investigating if someone has a need.

1. cherry juice -- gout
2. olive leaf extract -- shingles, lyme disease, high blood pressure
3. combo of alpha lipoic acid, selenium, silymarin (Dr. Bert Burkson protocol) -- cirrhosis of the liver (fibrosis), liver damage from poisonous mushrooms, organ repair including pancreas, reversing diabetes, mitochondria support
4. megadose vitamin K2 (45mg/day) taken with vitamin D -- arteriosclerosis, osteoporosis, dental caries, maybe cataracts (calcium in the wrong place)
5. oregano oil -- wound-healing, infections
6. ibogaine, naltrexone -- addiction to opiods, alcohol
7. limonene (orange oil) -- gastric reflux (GERD), gallstones
8. zinc-l-carnosine (PepZinGI) -- gastric reflux (GERD)
9. sulbutiamine (type of vitamin B1) -- alcoholic dementia
10. cruciferous vegetable juice or concentrate -- some cancer tumors
11. pawpaw -- some cancer
12. cashew extract (topical) -- moles, warts, skin cancer
13. serrapeptase enzyme -- raised scars, clearing the lungs, dissolves/digests some cancer
14. Vinpocetine -- hypoxia (low oxygen)
15. fenbendazole (dog dewormer) -- some cancer
16. ivermectin -- virus, scabies, lice, acne/rosacea (when used topically), some cancer
17. hydroxychloroquine plus zinc -- virus, zinc deficiency
18. Cernilton/Graminex (specific pollen) -- prostatitis, enlarged prostate
19. quercetin -- prostatitis
20. lutein & zeaxanthin -- macular degeneration
21. melatonin -- sleep
22. remineralizing toothpaste (Apagard) -- early dental caries
23. Ceylon cinnamon -- high cholesterol
24. diosmin, butchers broom, horsechestnut seed extract -- hemorrhoids & varicose veins
25. curcumin -- pain & inflammation
26. TUDCA (bile) -- liver stone, kidney stones and gallstones,
27. Himalaya Livercare (sold in India as Liv.52) -- restore liver after using steroids
28. betaine/trimethylglycine -- fatty liver, improve digestion (use this instead of antacid)
29. MSM eye drops -- floaters, pinguecula (growth on eyeball), cataracts, glaucoma
30. eyebright (herb) drops -- pinguecula
31. carnosine eye drops -- cataracts
32. dementia -- This is frequently misdiagnosed. It may be Lyme disease or a drug side-effect.
33. citrus bergamot -- cholesterol.
34. banaba -- diabetes, blood sugar
35. Cetaphil cleanser (topical) -- non-toxic treatment for lice (google it for instructions)
36. TagBand (rubber-band-like devices) -- skin tags
37. borax & apple cider vinegar (shaken together and used topically) – dandruff and mange, for people or animals
38. Humaworm parasite cleanse (fresh, made-to-order herbal blend) – parasites (use it occasionally or whenever you get an acute infection)
39. oleander extract (Tony Isaac protocol) – some cancer
40. alpha lipoic acid (Andy Cutler protocol) – mercury chelation after removal of dental amalgam (also take a mineral supplement, because other minerals are also chelated, which can cause hair shedding)
