America First made a heck of a lot of sense when it was assumed it was going to be another stalemate, like WWI.
But once France fell, and it became clear that the Germans were on the verge of prevailing, that’s when they began to lose supporters.

My mom was born in Sept. 1939. Hitler was marching his Heer into Poland when she began labour pains. My granny thought Hitler was going to take over the world before she got out of the hospital with our mother. God bless her soul.
